Day 1: Melbourne - The Overland - Adelaide

Board The Overland in Red Service this morning and enjoy the scenery as the train heads west past The Grampians as you head to South Australia. On arrival in Adelaide make your way to the hotel, your base for the next three nights.

Day 2: Adelaide

This morning's city sights tour is an ideal to the cosmopolitan Adelaide way of life. See Victoria Square, River Torrens, Colonel Light's Lookout, the Zoological and Botanical Gardens, the Central Market and more.

Day 4: Adelaide - Indian Pacific - Broken Hill

Lunch, Dinner

Board the mighty Indian Pacific and enjoy a delicious lunch en route to the historic mining town of Broken Hill. There is time for a whistle-stop tour before reboarding; watch as the sun sets over the Gateway to the Outback.

Day 5: Indian Pacific - Sydney

Breakfast

Enjoy breakfast on board while admiring the majestic Blue Mountains as they pass your window. On arrival in Sydney make your way to your hotel.

Day 6: Sydney

Discover vibrant Sydney at your own pace with a hop-on-hop-off day pass to ride an open-top double-decker bus; stay on board for a 90-minute tour, or hop on and off at will all day. This evening board the XPT and enjoy your comfortable First Class Sleeper cabin as you head south through the New South Wales Riverina into Victoria.
