Itinerary
Day 1: Adelaide
Dinner
Interstate passengers fly to Adelaide arriving prior to 12.30 p.m. You will be met and transferred to your hotel. Your tour of Adelaide will include seaside Glenelg, tastings at the Adelaide Wine Centre and the beautiful Botanic Gardens. Opened to the public in 1857, the gardens were designed by George Francis, who is said to have been influenced by the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew, England and Versailles, France, as well as certain German and Dutch stylistic influences. Even today, the Adelaide Botanic Garden has a northern European style, also reflected in its 19th century buildings. After strolling through the garden, visit Adelaide's Japanese sister city garden, the serene Himeji Japanese Gardens. A walled oasis of peace and tranquillity, the gardens blend two classic Japanese styles, the lake and mountain garden and the dry garden.
Day 2: Richardson Garden - Fleurieu Peninsula
Breakfast, Dinner
Visit the amazing Richardson's Garden Nursery, one of the most beautiful gardens in Australia, overlooking vineyards and the Adelaide Hills. The next stop for today's touring is the beautiful old whaling port of Victor Harbor, offering amazing sea views, spectacular walks and trails, conservation parks and great whale watching points. Your final stop for the day is a visit to McLaren Vale Olive Grove, where you can sample fresh produce enroute to Adelaide.

Stroll through the twelve hectare rose gardens featuring 25,000 roses and opened by the Queen in 2002. Continue to popular Maggie Beer's Pheasant Farm, long regarded as a bastion of traditional Barossa food in the perfect bucolic setting. Finally, take a guided tour of the historic Seppelts Winery with its avenue of magnificent date palms.
