Day 1: Arrive Anchorage

    DAY 2: Anchorage Sightseeing

  • Downtown Anchorage- the 'city of lights'
  • Alaska Native Heritage Center
  • Drive around Lake Hook to the largest float plane base in the world
  • Learn about Alaska's rich heritage and native people
  • Highlight Dinner at popular local restaurant

    Day 3: Anchorage - Denali N. P.

  • Ride the world-famous Alaska railroad from Anchorage to Denali.
  • Travel to Denali National Park
  • View North America's highest mountain- Mt. McKinley
  • Highlight Dinner with old-time sourdough song-and-dance and hearty Alaskan fare

    DAY 4: Denali National Park

  • Easy one-hour guided hike, learning about the wildlife and tundra
  • optional activities including rafting down the Nenana River, helicopter sightseeing, and Denali Visitor Center.

    DAY 5: Denali - Mount Alyeska

  • Journey south on the George Parks High
  • Lunch at the home of champion dog musher and four-time Iditarod winner Martin Buser- meet his dogs!
  • Travel along the scenic Seward Highway to Girdwood, where the Alyeska Resort and ski area are located.
  • Ride the gondola for panoramic views of the mountains and sea (optional)
  • Celebration dinner

    DAY 6: Prince William Sound cruise

  • Get up close to hear the thundering sound of glaciers calving, and try to spot sea otters, porpoises, sea lions, bald eagles, kittiwakes and whales.

    DAY 7: Mount Aleska - Anchorage

  • Travel to Seward for an exclusive presentation at the Alaska SeaLife Center.
  • Explore downtown
  • Return to Anchorage for airport transfer, or to the tour hotel if you are extending your stay
